Montrose in Houston is one of the oldest and culturally diverse areas of Houston and has an eclectic mix of real estate. Other Houston Montrose areas such as Avondale, Westmoreland, Cortlandt Place and Cherryhurst all have homes full of  charm and character. For those with more modern tastes, there are also plenty of townhomes, lofts and condos. Montrose is also home to great restaurants, funky antique, vintage stores and much more. Real estate ranges in price from around $200,000 for a small condo, mid to upper $300's and higher for a 3 bedroom, 3 story townhome or loft,  upper $300's to lower $400's for a Cherryhurst bungalow on up to $1 million + for a stately home in historic Cortlandt Place or Avondale.
