River Oaks is Houston's most exclusive and elegant neighborhood and it's secluded estates and mansions are home to many CEOs, board directors, and entrepreneurs. The cornerstone of River Oaks is River Oaks Boulevard, a wide tree and estate-lined street that ends at the River Oaks Country Club's grand entrance. River Oaks is very centrally located, midway between Downtown and Uptown.
Prices in this exclusive neighborhood start around $1 million dollars and up and a little less for something priced at "lot value" only. New homes are being built on these million dollar lots offering the buyers the privilege of having a River Oaks address. Bordering River Oaks is Royden Oaks, Afton Oaks and Oak Estates, also considered great River Oaks neighborhoods but prices are slightly lower than River Oaks and the lot sizes tend to be a tad smaller.
