Located just inside Loop 610, West of the Heights, and 5 miles northwest of downtown. Timbergrove borders White Oak Bayou and is a deed-restricted neighborhood developed in the early 1950's so the homes are mainly one story, ranch style on fairly large, treed lots. The 11^th St park in Timbergrove is one of the few parks, this large inside Houston's Inner Loop and is considered a 20 acre gem, complete with.herons, owls, woodpeckers, butterflies, squirrels, and countless other creatures.

Prices in Timbergrove have steadily risen like most Inner Loop neighborhoods and 1950's ranch style homes range in the mid 200K range for a smaller 2 or 3 bedroom home, most are in the 300K range going up to to $400K-700K for a larger, beautifully renovated home. Not too many new homes in the area.
