The Houston Association of Realtors reports the sale of town homes and condos in December 2009 rose nearly 12 percent over the same month in 2008 as many folks that once lived in the suburbs have become weary of the long commutes. Empty nesters are also moving back to enjoy city life in Houston. "Inner Loopers" have enjoyed living in the midst of all the action with nothing inside the Loop more than 10 minutes away and that includes all the major work hubs and all the sports and entertainment venues, not to mention the great dining and shopping.
